Today, InfoWorld posted an excellent interview with Brendan Eich, creator of JavaScript. They discuss JavaScript's origins, its quirks, its popularity, and most importantly, its future. One interesting take-away for me: confirmed, yes, ECMAScript 4 == JavaScript 2. Interesting read for any JavaScript enthusiast.
